Our first Sunday in our brand new blog

We are a group of women in Gainesville, FL that have just created this blog to have the opportunity to share all the crafts we like to do with people around the globe.
Today is Sunday, and like every Sunday we get together in someone's home and talk, eat and share ideas about quilts and crafts. It's a lot of fun because we are very international and because it's always nice to see and hear about everybody else's work.
Today I hosted the meeting in my apartment. As always it was a lot of fun. It's also our opportunity to take a break from our very much loved children. My husband usually babysits for my son and my friend's 14 month old boy. That is really nice for both my friend Pascaline and I because we spend most of our week with our little ones.
Here are some of today's show and tell. Clara showed us her new creation, a wonderful bag:

This is a close up image:

And the amazing cell phone pocket she made!!!

And the super jean snake!!

Gisele working hard on a new quilt:

Pilar organizing her quilt, well it looks like she was going for the food right there ;)

Really beautiful baby quilt...

And Camila working with the tupperware on her lap filled with little pieces of fabric:

And as usual we had some delicious food :)

I am so glad to be part of this community! It is so much fun and our meetings are a wonderful, creative and therapeutic way to keep us mothers and wifes in balance. I am looking forward to the next week's meeting at my place.
